These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CoWriter Ink (“the Service”), operated by Lokami Press. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
CoWriter Ink is an AI-assisted book creation tool. It helps you research, outline, draft, edit, and prepare manuscripts and covers for publishing. Content generated through the Service is produced with the assistance of third-party AI models (including Anthropic's Claude and image-generation providers) based on your inputs.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You retain all rights to the book content, titles, descriptions, and cover art you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership over your manuscripts. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on the rights of others and complies with the terms of any platform (such as Amazon KDP) where you choose to publish it.
Content produced by the Service is generated algorithmically and may contain inaccuracies, including factual errors, outdated information, or unintentional similarity to existing works. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing all generated content before publishing or distributing it. We make no warranty as to the originality, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated output.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. AI credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over unless purchased as a top-up pack, which never expires. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or intended to deceive readers (for example, mass-generated low-quality content designed to manipulate marketplace rankings). We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
The Service depends on third-party AI providers and may occasionally be unavailable or degraded due to factors outside our control. We'll do our best to keep the Service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoWriter Ink and Lokami Press are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses related to published content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
